at the Amiga website. 1st Apr. 2001 - Fleecy Moss of AmigaOS has revealed some more information on the AmigaOS updates: - TCP/IP stack - Brand new, written from scratch. - Resource tracking - Provided by the Amiga Component Model (ACM). -
New datatypes system, with streaming capability for anims - The ACM and streaming system - SMP - Will be in OS5. -
Audio system - The Audio system will be the best of any system out there. We have 5 of the -
2D and 3D graphics APIs - Already underway (with the help of Hyperion and the Picasso team), - New filesystem - Provided with OS4.0 - Hardware independancy - Provided with OS4.2 -
